The new GX rumor almost let us forgot that a new OMD is also on the horizon! And that may be the reason why we see more and more OMD deals. The latest is coming from Canada where you save $500(!) on that superkit at Henrys (Click here). In USA you save $100 on the E-M5 and 17mm f/1.8 lens bundle at BHphoto (Click here). In Europe 50 Euro off on the Black 45mm kit at Fotomundus.

More new deals:
GX1 for $239 now at Adorama (Click here) and BHphoto (Click here).
The 20mm pancake for $335 is back at Amazon (shipment from May 26).

and now I know. No different to the moron I usually am.

At least you’re honest about it.

What do they mean with “DEMO” that is made of solid plastic just for the showroom? LOL

  • DavidB

Calling it DEMO, I think is wrong. It should be called Used!!
Looks like Henrys is running a training event at a future photo show next weekend. They may have sold tickets and have X people pay them money to walk through an EM5. Now they are going to sell these cameras, that get fully used for a weekend. Some will be good, but others if the user doesn’t care will be beaten. So I think this will be hit and miss.
Why doesn’t Henry’s just wait on the sale and sell first to the actual first Users? Then the people could buy what they just played with and learned how to use.

Admin, you had all us Canadians excited. I was ready to head over and pick one up!

This price is for a demo unit and limited quantities (perhaps only one?). Note the following fromt the Henry’s site:

“PLEASE NOTE: This limited quantity, specially priced Camera Kit is being used as a demonstration product in the School of Imaging Hands-On Lab at the 2013 Exposure Show, May 31 to June 2, at the International Centre. This Camera Kit will be ready for shipping after the Exposure Show – the week of June 10th.”

What does one get if they drop it?

      • caver3d

        A camera with “character”.

      • http://www.flickriver.com/photos/photography-by-thomas/ TheEye

The resulting price drop will be directly proportional to the height from which the camera was dropped times 1/5 of the hardness of the impact media.

The sensational $500 off statement is misleading.

It’s a used item that’s priced $200 off henry’s normal price and comes with some free accessories.

Here are 4 refurbished E-PM1 cameras with lenses for $179.99 + 10 shipping:

Probably the lowest I’ve seen yet.
