3 months ago |I think the OMD EM5 is really overpriced without the known video issues addressed by Olympus.
You have this amazing 5 axis stabilization and you won’t issue a relatively simple update to address this?
Just don’t trust Olympus to do right by their clients.

3 months ago |I think it would be fair to say that every new camera in these days of non stop improvements in technology is over priced when released and it is only a matter of time before prices drop or the camera is replaced. As regards the video question it seems fairly well accepted that Olympus are simply concentrating on the stills ability of their equipment, accepting it is probably a reasonably sized minority of buyers who demand the video ability.
As for myself I have little or no interest in that form of recording and which is, in my mind, backed up by what seems an inordible number of poor quality pointless clips that are published online as someones masterpiece of fim making.

3 months ago |I think the Panasonic GH3 is really overpriced without the known IBIS issues addressed by Panasonic.
You have this oversized SLR camera with not-better-than-image quality as the OMD, and you won’t accept the fact that the camera is $300 more for added video junk?
Just don’t trust Panasonic to do right by their clients, nor expect prime lenses to stay stabilized during street photography.

3 months ago |Prime lenses to stay stabilized during street photography? WTF planet are you from? Who needs that for street photography? We got by just fine, for 70-80 years without it, then all the sudden it’s a necessity? Get a brain dude, then get some technique, then maybe study photography, instead of fanboyism.

3 months ago |Considering how much camera you get, feature-wise, its size, and the selection of native lenses available for it, I cannot see how it is overpriced at $900 USD.
