That’s an important review, since Olympus will certainly see it, and will be forced to add a flash to the next version of the Pen since they cannot really write off the New York Times as “no one important”.
I’m not sure the criticism of the sensor size is that justified, since the point was not to put the chip of a DSLR (or as the NY Times writes it, D.S.L.R.) inside a compact camera, but rather, to put a chip a bit smaller than a DSLR chip inside a compact camera.
Sure, I wish it was a larger chip, but that argument was lost when the micro-four-thirds standard was defined, not when the E-P1 was released.
Correct me if I am wrong, but, no micro-four-thirds camera will have a larger chip, right? They will all be the same size chip.
