(FT4) Kodak will not produce a MFT camera.

Good morning dear readers!

On early November Letsgodigitial said that Kodak could unveil a new MicroFourThirds camera in 2010.

We had the chance to talk with our sources and now we can tell you that Kodak will not make a MicroFourThirds camera. As reported before also Leica was close to join the MicroFourThirds system but they decided to go their own way.

We are working now to get more infos on Fuji’s plans. They will very likely join the MFT world!

Sigma SD15 (Foveon Sensor)

In the past we received some rumors about Olympus testing Foveon sensors on their cameras. The Foveon sensor creates its RGB color output for each photosite by combining the outputs of each of the stacked photodiodes at each of its photosites. Anyaway this are really unreliable rumors. What’s true is that Sigma is releasing the new SD15 camera wich uses such a sensor. It will be very interesting to see how the new and improved Foveon sensor will perform.

The leaked camera has been found inside nothing else than BHphoto (click here to see the picture and read the specs)!

AVi send ud his video and following text: “I shot some really low light footage with the GF1 and found it had a very charming look when shot in BW standard mode. It’s not clean noise free footage but the noise/grain works for me.
