Please allow me to post one of the crazy rumors we are receiving in this days. Really don’t take it to much seriousely ok?

That’s what one source told me:
“E-system Fans will be no intersted in New camera
I Guess new camera may change mount
I Believe it is true about 70%
I’m not sure Olympus New camera sitll use 43 mount.”

UPDATE:
Just receivend a new mail from an anonymous source. he says “I can’t say much, but do not be too dismissive of a new lens mount for the E5. Expect something new.“,

Hmmm… maybe the rumor is not that crazy ?

Mr. Tetsuro Goto is the Director of Laboratory Research and Development at Nikon Japan. Focus-Numerique just published a lengthy and very interesting interview with him (in French | Google translation).

• On Micro 4/3 & Nikon: “If we follow this type of equipment, we change our frame (mount). The new frame will provide new opportunities or provide access to new technologies and to use targets smaller and lighter”.

• Large sensor compact camera: “We study this way. You’ll know soon enough.”

• On EVF: “In the near future, it is possible that we will also use electronic viewfinders, but for now the quality is not there yet.”

1) The Panasonic Singapore countdown ends on January 31. We still don’t know if they only want to promote their new website or if they also will unveil the new products. Let’s see.

2) Olympus will launch new cameras on February 2. New compact cameras are expected. Will they also announce the new FourThirds camera?
