Canon 7d featured to compete with the Panasonic Gh1 video capabilities
The new has multiple frame rate options and a good H264 codec. It looks like the Gh1 is getting a very strong competition. The only week point of the 7D is the price. You have to pay a lot more for the Canon EOS 7D body

4 years ago |Still no AF (or too slow, noisy AF), noisy IS, more jello when panning, no EVF for eye level framing, no articulating LCD?
Will it use the whole sensor for video or only every Nth row, causing the painful moiré?
Don’t think it will threaten the GH1 as the better video solution.
