Fantastic camera. It has a good variety of lenses that cover a broad range, with more to come. The 14-42mm kit lens is a good general lens. The other lenses, such as the 20mm f/1.7 lens is a really good lens for the 4/3 camera system.

Although this camera body isn’t made of metal, it is on par with the cameras in the sub 1000 USD range. It has a good feel to it and has great handling. This camera is very usable, it has movie capabilities and full manual, and half manual (modes such as aperture priority) modes. It also has a full auto mode which is a good transition for P&S camera users and for quick pics of friends and family.

The good sized sensor, as well as the high megapixel count provide great photos outside and in low light situations. I was deciding between the G10 and the G2, i hate touch screens, which the g2 has, and i dont shoot lots of video (both cameras have video), and nor do i want an articulated LCD.

This camera’s price is impeccable, i got this camera new for $325. However, when purchasing factor in about $100 for a camera bag, a high quality haze/uv filter (52mm thread for the kit lens), a memory card, a giottos bulb blower, an impact resistant glass lcd protector, lens pen, and microfiber cloths, all for a combined total under $100. My out the door total for less than $450 for everything (including camera and 14-42mm lens).

I’m sorry that this is a bit long, but i want to show my excitment for this camera, and the 4/3 system.
