3 years ago |If Panasonic is announcing a GF1 like camera with built-in viewfinder like in that patent posted earlier on this site, then I will give Olympus a couple of weeks to announce something similar. I will stick with m4/3 in that case.

I would like to make suggest E-P/PL (E-620 style if possible) add EVF in body. E-PL1 and VF-2 is great but I feel a little annoying that set up and remove a bit frequently in some situation.

I actually saw it today at brick and mortar Fry’s store in Sunnyvale,CA. Unlike Amazon you have to pay CA sales tax though in you live in CA.

3 years ago |Maybe I am in the elite, but I just don’t find the X100s IQ that impressive, especially so compared to my EPL1 which just seems to produce a richer image with better color, detail, and tonality straught out of camera. I bought the X100 with the intention of replacing my EPL1 + 20 1.7 only to find myself dissapointed – yes the X100 is georgeous, but once you get past the honeymoon with this camera you find yourself scratching your head. Like the author, i plan to sell the X100 while the iron is hot and keep the Olympus.
