Second, it is not typo. You can still purchase it for that price as recommended price is yet officially announced.

3 years ago |Please understand that amazon has no inside information. Both the DATE and the PRICE (obviously) are just placeholders. They will take pre-orders for cameras as soon as they are announced without even knowing whether they will be able to sell them (they are assuming they will.)
They just picked a date several months in the future and will adjust it if an actual date is announced.
They know nothing more than we do, actually the person who put that page up probably knows a lot less about this product and product line than the average reader of this blog.
