A triple lens review and a nice GF5 test video!
Our french friends from Hybridcams got their hands on the new Panasonic GF5 and shot that video in Paris. It’s really a great cam, but as I said yesterday I don’t know if it can compete against the cheap GF3 or cheap PEN entry cameras (like the list of cameras I posted here at the bottom). Anyway, the GF5 is now arriving in US and European stores. Preorder search links: Amazon, Adorama, B&H, J&R, eBay (Could not be listed in some stores).

2 years ago |I buy this in Kit by E-510, and after i up grad firmware in lens focus then ok on M43 camera(E-P1 and E-P2) too.

2 years ago |Cool video! I know nothing about video but am becoming interested in it. Is the aspect ratio used in the video native to the camera or cropped later in software? Also how is the high speed video done, in camera or later in software editing?

I was surprised to see the GF5 in a shop 2 days ago so had a go. It didn’t seem much different to the GF3 in all honesty. I thought the grip would be nicer, but it still has a plastic feel about it.
Still it’s not a bad choice for a small micro4/3 camera, didn’t see any reason for GF3 owners to upgrade though.
