3 years ago |Well, about the electrical contacts they’re just extrapolating from the press release we’ve all read so nothing new under the sun

3 years ago |Wow! An EP2 and GF1 review. Really fantastic!!!
C’mon m43 team. Sony is really exploding, and meanwhile no EP3 rumor. If all Photokina shows us is a new E3 successor, then I might try out a Sony.

3 years ago |You say in the future Voigtlander lenses may have electrical contacts; so I assume that means the new 25mm does not have contacts? If so that’s a huge bummer for such a pricey lens. I actually enjoy manually focusing with EVF’s, but I prefer the lens automatically trigger the 7x focus mode when you move the focus ring.
Of course Olympus could fix this problem if they’s set their cameras up so that the 7x zoom mode can be activated with a half shutter press.
