that gh1 info is good to know. I was curious about the comparison

  • Dummy00001

    Interesting video.

BTW, what’s the “hacked firmware” the guy keep mentioning?

    • admin

There is a GH1 hack available on DVXforum. It increases the image quality.

If Fuji’s phase detection AF works as promised, it could mean the end of prefocusing in daylight. Just press the button and take a photo!
Still waiting for the first review …

  • Jeff

Just for better understanding: Does this guy speak about VIDEO quality only (well, he does not say that…)? Or is he actually claiming that the STILL IMAGE quality of a GH1 is better than the one of a Canon 7D?

  • admin

    Video quality!

  • Jeff

So what? The main focus of DSLRs has never been video. If I want primarily a video camera why should I buy a 7D?!

  • misu

I’d like to see some stills taken from HD video with the charts.

  • rUY

I think 7D image quality is bad too. that for me 7D is useless?

  • jt

I look forward to comparisons between the hacked GH1 and the upcoming GH2. I bet the hacked GH1 beats it!
