why ppl still keep compared a GH2 to lower than its model. it is no point as the price GH2 exp> G2. Compare with diff class only can be done when the lower model outperformance higher its model in term of price.

“compact system cameras (CSC) will kill off sales in the rest of the photographic market”

Surely. There was a diagram here a while ago ( by Thom Hogan ? ) that showed how P&S will be replaced by mobile phones and DSLRs by mirrorless. It’s already beginning to happen, but if manufacturers of mirrorless cameras could offer one with video and flash for about 300 EUR, that would be the end of entry-level DSLR.

I clicked on that one because I was excited to see that the UK now has a camera industry. LOL! These cameras are all made in Japan (China)! That is where the industry is. What they do in the UK and US is marketing. Industry implies actually making a product.

So, lets use the correct terms. UK camera MARKETEERS are worried about CSC’s. They shouldn’t worry as long as they have something to sell. The real people who should be worried are Nikon and Canon who don’t manufacture a CSC. That is the INDUSTRY that needs to be worried.

PS: Why don’t we have industry in the US or UK anymore? Could it be that the marketeers and money launderers have taken everything over?

exactly. they have no reason to be worried :) on the contrary, they can now sell mirrorless cameras to people who already have a p&s or a dslr. a brand new market.
