If only Olympus would make an underwater version of the XZ-1! Those big, clunky plastic boxes are loathsome. Even better, Nikon should bring out a modern Nikonos!
I have one of the Oly Tough cameras and it’s great that I can use it in rain or snorkel and really NOT worry about the thing. Too bad the images aren’t so great. Why they insist on jamming 10 – 12 – 14 megapixels into these things escapes me.
Anyway, I was in the rainforest and cloud forest in Costa Rica recently and my “real camera” stayed safe and dry and mainly unused. If only…
